Waish — Fashion, Streetwear branding case study

Fashion, Streetwear Waish

Fashion, Streetwear  ·  Concept

Arabic script is the material

Most streetwear treats Arabic culture as a nod, a print, a pattern borrowed and moved on from. Waish treats it as the actual material to play with. Built from the insight that Arab cultural identity needed a platform that centered it.

Waish

Identity

The whole identity built by hand: naming, typography, color, collection design, packaging, every piece of communication, Arabic carrying primary weight and English secondary. The instinct throughout was playful, regional visual culture turned into something cool and nostalgic at once.

Waish — Identity

Collection

A seasonal drop model built scarcity and story into every release, so each collection landed as an event. The only place technology entered was product visualization, AI-generated mockups standing in for a real photoshoot so collections could be shown and tested before a single physical sample existed. Every typographic and creative decision on the design itself stayed entirely by hand, start to finish.
